Helios Power Tree’s leaves charge your USB powered gadgets
NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program Spring 2008 show was detained yesterday in which many graduate students had been introduced their attractive and future projects, many unique and mind-blowing designs and computer programs were displayed in this show.
Oscar G. Torres’s Helios Power Tree was the point of attraction around the show due to its extraordinary feature of charging, thin solar cells have used for making its leaves which are linked to trunk and branches among big battery that is fitted at the base of this tree.
In charging this battery takes solar power and its blue lights shine all over the tree and the most important thing of this tree is that you can keep this charging tree in an public place where peoples can use its solar energy to charge their USB powered gadgets through a hub which is present at the base of tree.
When you touch the leaves of this tree, you must feel energy is flowing in it, Torres hoping that it will build this tree in full size and place it’s charging trees in metropolitan parks where public can charge their gadgets.
