The new Adidas Brand Center located in Sanlitun Village Shopping Center in Beijing’s Chaoyang District of Beijing, was inaugurated with an exhibition that establishes the marriage between the brand and oriental culture. The classical Eastern iconography and graphics and colors typical of the Adidas brand, are the mix that characterizes the collection of furniture created for the occasion by the Hong Kong Dorophy Tang. Furniture design classic, contemporary and artistic made by striking cultural contamination between East and West.

I saw old tires turned into flower pots, swings, handbags and clothes futuristic, but I had never seen a tyre become a sinuous sessions with look underground. Okay, so an amazing hat won’t win the race, but we’re actually not terribly interested in that part anyway. We’re far more fascinated by the hats that the Derby brings out, and the Kentucky Derby Museum has chosen the hat with which it is most impressed this year — Gena Conti Millinery’s Orange Ade.

The hat is currently on a one-year loan to the Kentucky Derby Museum Hat Exhibit in Louisville, Kentucky, and is made of four layers of orange sinamay straw with a lime green sinamay crown. Green, gold, orange, fuchsia, lavender, and teal organza, as well as orange and green silk pansies adorn the hat, along with jack-o-lanterns, magnolias, leaves, and feathers.

Heidi Bridget Coleman is a young graphic designer English, who attended the Chelsea College of Art Summer Show, after some experience working for clients such as Lynx, Designers Are Wankers, Nokia, Momiji and Hawaii Design. A multi-disciplinary approach characterizes his graphic design making them tactile and aesthetically beautiful, just as they refer to the use of typographical characters in relief, the technique of folding origami paper and that three-dimensional pop-ups, as in the case of projects for the Study London Hawaii Design.

Jonas Lindvall is an interior architect and product designer Swedish, with customers of the calibre of Japanese IDÉE, DuPont Corian, Skandiform, Vagabond International, Ballingslöv and DeNord, regular visitor from the best schools of Design in Europe and North America. Among his new proposals, Jonas Lindvall has designed and produced Bernard Chair, a chair by the robust and asymmetrical, hand-made walnut and oak.
