All fans will design an important new appointment to be set on for next autumn, or the week design of Istanbul in Turkey.

After the success of past seasons, the Istanbul Design Week 2008 is proposed as one of the most important events in the Euro-Asian and obtain a consensus even wider for the first time the event will be organized and operated by Design in Turkey, a joint venture between Dream Design Factory (dDf) and DesignPartners, combining vibrant energy of Turkish culture to Italy.

Dream Design Factory (dDf) is a communications company with offices in Istanbul and London specializing in the field of design while dDf is the organizer of historic Istanbul Design Week. The joint venture aims to create a new format, which opens borders, expands, exceeds the boundaries of the territory, along the lines of ZonaTortona Design: Istanbul Design Week 2008 will be a local event with international perspective.

An opportunity for companies to present their products and activities to an international audience, in a modern country with an economy in sharp ascent. Istanbul, a meeting point between different traditions, will be European Capital of Culture in 2010.

On June 26 last held the award ceremony of the twenty-first Compasso d’Oro and on that occasion has been given 10 awards Compasso d’Oro, 6 premiums for the career and 2 international awards.

Among the winners also Marc Sadler, author of Big modular library designed to Caimi Patents: The draft has convinced for the perfect fusion between formal and sharp design and great features, even the smallest detail.

Success for Ron Arad, awarded for the rocking chair MT3 of Driade proposing a futuristic design and a production system highly innovative after-depth studies was in fact possible to make the rotational moulding of furniture bicolour.

Nido also honoured in the compact car and particularly safe Pininfarina; Neos, Wristwatches of Culdesac for Lorenz; Mix, the lamp by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto for Luceplan; Trioli, the multipurpose chair for children Eero Aarnio for Magis; A R606, the innovative session Bartoli Design and Engineering Fauciglietti Segis; Shaka, the sailboat, designed by Wally, Lazzarini Pickering Architects and Farr Yacht Design for Wally.

And the last two awards went to the set of Toyo Ito for the company Horm and the City of Turin, Look of the City 2006 Winter Olympics developed by Italo Lupi, Ico Migliore, Mara Servetto and City of Turin (Directorate Communications Tourism Promotion) .
